Fact 1: Who invented the iPod? The iPod was invented by Steve Jobs and Tony Fadell of Apple Inc. in 2001 during the Technology and Information Age of inventions which was a paramount addition to advancements made in the area of Communications and Information.

Prior to the invention of the iPod in 2001, Kane Kramer, a British inventor, developed and patented the idea of a portable, plastic digital music player in 1979, but his patent expired and he we unable to afford to renew the patent against the big businesses who had developed the MP3 players.
